The Black Mamba Induction cobrahead luminaire provides the latest green technology, energy saving solution for streetlighting, highways,and general area illumination. Proprietary, high quality induction lamp & generator deliver 100,000 hour life, superior efficiency, excellent 85 CRI color, instant-on, no restrike, and cold temperature starting to minus -40 C/F degrees. Black Mamba is the ideal luminaire to replace inefficient HID cobraheads, providing energy cost savings of 50% and long term savings of 3 to 10 cycles of relamping maintenance costs. The Black Mamba features a compact, streamlined die-cast aluminum housing and polyester powder coat finish for durability and weather resistance. Stainless steel front latch and oversize knurled fasteners provide tool-less, rapid access to lamp and electrical compartments.

With Deco Lightings revolutionary 20 degree down angle “arrow” slope, the new top frame design will allow for rain water to dispose of unwanted bird dropping build up which can insulate heat into the fixture. With the new design, rain water will “self clean” the fixture.
